"Unsaid" Songs "is the new album of the guitarist and composer Francesco Guaiana and it represents the need to give a clear cut container to some of his unpublished compositions, close to contemporary Jazz, written in different historical periods.
The cd contains 9 original tracks, written between Italy and the United States, where the composer lived for several years, except for "Falling Grace", personal review of a song by the famous American composer and bassist Steve Swallow, one of the composers of reference for the author.
After experimenting, for a long time in the past, performances in solo and trio, Guaiana rediscovers traditional Jazz Quartet set up by choosing the sound and the talent of the young trumpeter Alessandro Presti as an ideal creative counterpoint to the guitar's sound and the well-established and powerful rhythm section consisting of Luca Lo Bianco on bass and contrabass and Fabrizio Giambanco on drums.
The album, released on October 20, 2014, will be published by Workin' Label and distributed by IRD International Records Distribution.
